Some Yote Prints, Stickers and Tees
Hey, I hope this isn't spam. I'm in a bit of a bind so thought I'd share some of my art-stuff that is for sale that features COYOTES! So, it's relevant. :) It's getting close to Christmas, maybe you need a coyote gift for someone?
Prints , posters and cards:
Tshirts, Hoodies, Stickers and kid's clothes:
And you might be interested in this design, it is my favorite, and great for any animal lover with a spiritual side! I have it in prints/posters/cards and a design in both red (pictured) and blue for tshirts and stickers.
Hope you're all having a howling good weekend. :3 Current Mood: hopeful

The Mountain Finally Makes a Coyote T-shirt
I'm surprised no one has posted this yet...
The Mountain - makers of the famous Three Wolf Moon t-shirt (among hundreds of other wolf and other species t-shirts) FINALLY introduced a coyote t-shirt this year: http://shop.themountain.me/products/Coyote-Sun.html Took them long enough. :-P
I have one (actually I'm wearing it right now) and it does look better in person than online, though it would be nice if the coyote wasn't so low on the shirt. I'm hoping The Mountain makes more designs. Maybe coyotes will be the next big thing after wolves!
If you decide to buy one, shop around, you can find better deals than buying direct from The Mountain.

Just thought I'd ask to see whether or not I'm actually welcome in this community...does a Coywolf (coyote+wolf hybrid) actually count as a coyote to you guys? If it helps at all, my userpic is the creature in question.
Last Anthrocon, I got on an elevator and there were several coyotes who had got together for photos and other stuff, apparently. It was too late for me to join them, then. Will there be something like that again this year?

Well, it's game 7 on Tuesday for the Coyotes. With the Devils out of it *again* at least there's one team left to root for. With the exception of one member of this group who will be rooting for the wrong team *pokes wildfox34
* we can enjoy the videos floating around... like this one
of an appearance of Howler at a local school.

Cooking with Coyoty
I've got to try that in real life.
This is the start of a new story arc in Ralph Hayes, Jr.'s Nip & Tuck
comic. Gee, I wonder what he has cooked up for me...
Ralph writes some of the best comics on the web, and deserves as much money as you can throw at him for his work, especially at tax time. You can find the rest of his comics and a donation button here

There's a new webcomic called Spacetrawler about six people abducted by aliens to help free a technological alien race from slavery. One of the people is a woman who was raised by coyotes and became their queen. And she thinks they're very tasty.http://www.spacetrawler.com Current Mood: amused

Hi again! *sniffs around* Oh good, you are here! I found a couple of 'new' Wile E videos! They were made in 2000 and 2003! *counts* That's a lotta years ago! But umm, uh--- here you go!
In this one, he's just a puppy like me! And the roadrunner is like a bite-sized snack!
Oh wow! He knows magic in this one! How come he doesn't just pull a roadrunner out of his hat and eat that one?
He's so smart! I wanna be like him when I'm all growed up! Current Mood: happy

Versailles Chapel Coyote
by Melinda Worth Popham:
"Early on, boning up for his new job, he had looked up 'coyote' in the encyclopaedia at the Yuma Public Library, and a strange thing had happened. He, a matter-of-fact, down-to-earth man who paid no attention to his dreams or any other loose talk from his psyche, had had the closest thing to a vision he was ever to experience.
"After reading the brief entry on coyotes -- ... -- his eye had fallen on a small, black-and-white photograph which he took to be an illustration of the coyote entry but which was, in fact, accompanying the adjacent entry on Antoine Coypel. Even after reading the caption, 'Chapel Vault at Versailles by Coypel, 1709,' and realizing it was the perspective and smallness of the photograph that had done it, he still could not shake the powerful illusion of the chapel vault forming the head of a primitive yet oddly realistic beast-priest coyote with the angled, clerestory windows as pointed teeth and three of the round, Baroque panels as nose and absolutely coyote eyes.
"He thumbtacked it on a wall in his shack, and when Hallie asked him why, he said it was the best damn picture of a coyote he had ever seen..."
The author is right. Look up "versailles chapel" in Google, click on Images, and look at all the different thumbnails of this chapel. You will see Coyote looking back at you. Current Mood: impressed

Coyoty slowly turns into a badger...
In addition to the con badge I made from my YOTE graphic, I got this badge from Jim Groat at FurFright. I mentioned my penchant for balancing things, and he decided the perfect thing for me to balance would be a chainsaw. This is true. The only thing that's kept me from doing it in real life is access.
I regret that it doesn't shrink down to userpic size too well.
I've been told that some people had made their own buttons or badges from my YOTE graphic, but I didn't see any.
One of my strange coincidences occurred when I discovered my badges nearly being destroyed by someone who accidentally shifted his chair onto them. That someone was jbadger
